The Yeshua Boxing Club, Yeshua Outreach Center, Keaau will again be hosting a USA Boxing/LBC-sanctioned boxing event on Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.
The Yeshua Boxing Club, Yeshua Outreach Center, Keaau will again be hosting a USA Boxing/LBC-sanctioned boxing event on Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.
Boxers from the Big Island as well as other clubs from across the state will be competing. The event will be held at the Sure Foundation Church gym located on the corner of Pohaku Circle and Pahoa Highway, in Keaau (halfway between Kaloli and Paradise Avenues).
Yeshua-hosted boxing events typically attract 600-800 in attendance, in a safe, family environment.
The Yeshua Boxing Club, with over 65 current members, is dedicated to building character, teaching respect and developing champions in a drug-free environment.
The general public is invited to the event; tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 11-17, with children under 10 free.
Families are welcome and food concessions will be provided.
All proceeds go directly to the Yeshua Outreach Center, serving over 200 Puna community youth per week. The Yeshua Center is operated by Sure Foundation Inc, a nonprofit corporation.
